Austin & The Syd Experience formed officially in the summer of 2022. Austin Johnson coming from a background of bluesy guitar playing drawing inspiration from the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton. Austin has had years of touring experience playing with many great artist's. Austin has played all over the U.S traveling along the "Blues circuit" playing some of the most historic venues. He has also played big festivals such as "Milwaukee Summerfest" opening for "Shaggy". Syd grew up singing in church and soon discovered rock n roll at an early age drawing inspiration from great artist like Janis Joplin, Sly Stone and also Jimi Hendrix. Syd has had many years of performing and singing with bands to hone her powerful voice. These two have been described as a "Powerhouse Duo" due to Austin's dynamic guitar playing abilities and Syd's strong, gritty powerhouse vocals.Being fluent in many genres, ASYD is a musical gumbo that is definitely a treat to experience.
