What You Should Know for the Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival

The 2023 Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival is June 16-18, 2023.

Where are charging station located?

Charging station, presented by the Columbus Blue Jackets, will be on the corner of Town and Mill.

How do artists/bands and vendors become part of the 2023 Festival?

The application period for Bands/Artists to perform in the 2023 Festival will be open November 1, 2022 - February 1, 2023. Any materials submitted after that date will not be considered. To be considered as a performer for the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival, artists should email their EPK between November 1, 2022 - February 1, 2023 to info (a) creeksidebluesandjazz.com. Any materials submitted outside of this time period will not be considered.

Where can I get a map of the Festival grounds?

Maps will be available at all Creekside Jazz & Blues Festival entrances. Please check the website closer to the date of the festival for a pdf version.

Is there an admission fee for the Festival?

Yes. Tickets are required for admittance to the Festival, which is located at 117 Mill St. in Gahanna OH 43230. The admission fee includes access to multiple stages featuring outstanding live music, as well as access to quality artisans and festival food! Children under age 4 and military personnel/veterans (with a military ID) will be admitted free. Tickets are available at admission gates on the days of the festival. However, we highly encourage you to purchase them ahead of time.

Can I exit and re-enter the Festival later in the day?

Yes. Same day re-entry to the Festival is available for attendees wearing that day's accepted admission wristband.

Can I bring a cooler?

No. Outside coolers are NOT permitted inside the entrance gates. Beer, soft drinks & water are available for purchase throughout the main Festival area.

Are pets allowed at the Festival?

''Comfort,'' ''therapy,'' and ''emotional support animals'' do not meet the definition of a ''service animal'' and are not permitted entry to the event; for the avoidance of doubt, NO other animals are permitted.

Is parking available?

Yes. We have streamlined our Parking & Shuttle Service, sponsored by TBD options for your convenience.

Will there be a Family Fun Zone in 2023?

There will not be a Family Fun Zone at CBJF this year.

Any tips on preparation for a day at the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival?

The summer weather in central Ohio can range from pleasantly warm to sunny and hot. Therefore, cool, unrestrictive clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended. A hat with a wide brim or visor is also a good idea. Wear comfortable shoes, as you may be doing a lot of walking and remember to stay hydrated. Beverages are available for purchase throughout the event.

Can I bring a chair?

Yes. Although limited hard-covered folding chairs are provided at the Blues and Jazz Stages, you are welcome, and encouraged, to bring your own folding chair. No umbrellas please.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of the Festival: set-up and tear-down, beverages, admission, musician assistants and more.
