How do artists/bands and vendors become part of the 2026 Festival?

The application period for Bands/Artists to perform in the 2026 Festival will be open December 18, 2024 - January 31, 2025. To be considered as a performer for the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival, please submit your application online. Any materials submitted outside of this time period will not be considered.

Where can I get a map of the Festival grounds?

Maps will be available at all Creekside Jazz & Blues Festival entrances. Please check the website closer to the date of the festival for a pdf version.

Is there an admission fee for the Festival?

Yes. Tickets are required for admittance to the Festival. Children under age 4 and military personnel/veterans (with a military ID) will be admitted for free. Tickets are available at admission gates, but are offered at a discount if purchased before the festival online.
Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival Prices

Can I exit and re-enter the Festival later in the day?

Yes. Same day re-entry to the Festival is available for attendees wearing that day's accepted admission wristband.

Can I bring a cooler?

No. Outside coolers are NOT permitted inside the entrance gates. Beer, soft drinks & water are available for purchase throughout the main Festival area.

Are pets allowed at the Festival?

Only service animals are permitted. Pets, ''comfort'', ''therapy'', and ''emotional support animals'' do not meet the definition of a ''service animal'' and are not permitted entry to the event.

Are free parking and shuttles available?

Yes. We have streamlined our Parking & options for your convenience.

How do I get to the event?

The Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival is located in downtown Gahanna, just outside the I-270 outer belt which surrounds Columbus. Find additional information in the Parking & Directions section of our website.

Will there be a family fun zone in 2025?

There will be a Children’s Music Discovery area zone on Saturday from 2 to 5 PM and on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. The Children’s Area will include family friendly activities, musical performances, and games. The Children’s Music Discovery Area is right outside of the North Admissions gate, and does not require a festival ticket to enter, thank you to our generous sponsors at the Rotary Club of Gahanna. Any tips on preparation for a day at the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival?

The summer weather in central Ohio can range from pleasantly warm to sunny and hot. Therefore, cool, unrestrictive clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended. A hat with a wide brim or visor is also a good idea. Wear comfortable shoes, as you may be doing a lot of walking and remember to stay hydrated. Beverages are available for purchase throughout the event.

Can I bring a chair?

Yes. Although limited hard-covered folding chairs are provided at the Blues and Jazz Stages, you are welcome, and encouraged, to bring your own folding chair. No umbrellas please.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of the Festival: set-up and tear-down, beverages, admission, musician assistants and more.

Are there ATMs available?

The nearest ATM locations are off festival at: State Bank, 94 Granville St., and Key Bank 186 Granville St.

Are baby changing stations available?

Baby changing stations are available in the public restrooms beneath the Community Stage at Creekside Plaza. See the event map for an exact location.

Is Smoking allowed in the Festival?

Smoking and vaping are prohibited on festival grounds.

Is there a weapons policy at the festival?

The festival is a weapon-free event. All bags and persons entering the festival can be subject to search.

Is there a Photography Policy at the festival?

Due to contracts with musicians, no unauthorized photography will be allowed at any time during the festival.

What is the Festival’s weather policy?

The CBJF is an all-weather event, and tickets cannot be refunded. In case of severe weather or an emergency, announcements will be made from the stages. If operations are suspended temporarily, guests are encouraged to seek shelter in the buildings located within the festival grounds. In the event an evacuation, guests must leave the festival grounds immediately or seek shelter in the Creekside Parking Garage (located at the corner of Mill St and Walnut St).

What should I do if I lose my child in the festival?

Parents separated from their children should immediately notify a nearby police officer or festival staff member. Provide a description of your child and your location, and remain where you are until police arrive.

Where is the First Aid Station?

The First Aid Station is located at the Latta Alley and Mill St. See the event map for an exact location.

Is there a Lost & Found at the Festival?

During festival hours, a lost and found will be located at the Volunteer Headquarters at the Gahanna Sanctuary at 82 N High Street near the Blues Stage.
