Celebrate Juneteenth At The Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival!

Creekside’s inaugural Juneteenth celebration honors African American history and culture with a vibrant event showcasing music, art, dance and community.

Featuring: 

  • Musical performances by Harmony, Gahanna Lincoln High School student ensemble, and Gifted Hands Drumline
  • Spoken Word by acclaimed poet Cynthia Amoah
  • Dance Performances from Thiossane Institute and Gahanna Lincoln High School Lionettes
  • And with a special appearance from Zayne Harshaw of Blue Spectrum

The celebration also introduces the Gahanna Black-Owned Business Passport — a beautifully designed booklet spotlighting local Black-owned businesses. Guests can collect stamps by visiting participating businesses, with completed passports redeemable for a special gift at the Juneteenth Celebration. The passport can be picked up now from participating businesses and the Gahanna Herb Center and will run through the Juneteenth Celebration on June 14. All businesses are also offering special deals and promotions along the way, giving guests even more reasons to explore and support.
