Donald Payne - Artist Manager, Recording Artist AKA Thumpdaddy!!  Donald Payne was signed to a major recording label in Detroit MI in 1977 with a Columbus OH group called The Crowd Pleasers. Later on he played around Columbus OH with local bands until he started his own band in 2004 and then he toured with George Clinton for six months as a bassist.  After that tour he started his own band called Thumpdaddy Band booking himself for 24 1/2 years.  Donald was inducted into the Funk Music Hall of Fame and Exhibition in 2017.  Thumpdaddy currently has a CD out called Old School with the first single and video out called Can You Get Funky.
